Houston has plenty of bars that play country. Fewer book it. Cattlemen's runs weekly live country bands — local and touring artists — on a professional stage with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, in a 12,000-square-foot venue in the Heights.
It was the first authentic country western venue in the neighbourhood and is still the only dedicated one.
